During the Expo Rianima TO event in Turin, as part of the World Heart Day 2024 program, Amoul® presented the CPR E6 and Defibrillator/Monitor i6. These devices, essential in emergency rescue and intensive care, were showcased alongside academic presentations and practical skills development sessions. The event, held at central Piazza Castello in Turin, was organized by the World Heart Federation (WHF) and coordinated in Italy by the Italian Heart and Resuscitation Association “Lorenzo Greco” Onlus. It was supported by the National Association of Public Assistance, Progetto Vita, and Ircomunità. The event attracted 500 healthcare professionals and 600 volunteers, providing them with the opportunity to engage with the latest innovations in emergency rescue and participate in free cardiology screenings.
At the opening ceremony, a special podium was designated for the regional chairman of the Ministry of Health, and special appreciation was expressed to Amoul® Services for their involvement in the event. The Italian Heart and Resuscitation Association "Lorenzo Greco’ Onlus" presented the "Messenger of the Heart" award to regional health advisor Federico Riboldi for his cardioprotection initiatives in the Piedmont Region, including the installation of 20 defibrillators and support for cardiovascular prevention activities. The event also included the showcasing of new electromedical techniques and technologies for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, early defibrillation, telemedicine, and implant treatments.
The event encompassed a three-day program featuring practical training, information sessions with specialists, first aid demonstrations, theoretical and practical workshops, and tests for students, hospital staff, emergency health professionals, Italy's leading first aid experts, and citizens. A comprehensive program named "Village for the Heart" was designed to facilitate awareness and information activities regarding the prevention of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases. The initiative included practical theoretical laboratories, academic presentations, and the Italian presentation of the cardiopulmonary resuscitator Amoul® E6. Additionally, the "Heart Run" initiative was launched to raise awareness among citizens about the significance of an active and healthy lifestyle in preventing heart disease and emphasized the importance of installing defibrillators (AEDs) in schools and sports facilities.
