The Congress of Ukrainian Anesthetists and Critical Care Physicians – 2024 was an absolutely phenomenal event that took place on September 20-21 at NMU in Kyiv, Ukraine. This extraordinary gathering owes its success to the unwavering support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the National Medical University. The congress delved into a diverse array of critical topics in anesthesiology and intensive care, captivating specialists, interns, and students from various esteemed medical education institutions.
Discussions at the congress encompassed vital subjects such as anesthesiological support and intensive therapy for combat trauma victims, intensive care for critical conditions, anesthesiological support and intensive care in the perioperative period, pain management, antibiotic therapy and resistance, sepsis and septic shock care, as well as anesthetic care in obstetrics and gynecology, and anesthesiology and intensive care in pediatrics. This was truly an unmissable event for anyone in the field, and the knowledge shared will undoubtedly shape the future of anesthesiology and intensive care practices.
During the conference, one of the absolute highlights was the captivating lecture delivered by Dr. Sergey Vorotintsev, Head of the Zaporozhye Association of Anesthetists, focusing on the utilization of the Amoul® VK600 ventilator for managing ventilation in patients with severe brain damage. This intensive care ventilator, recognized for its advanced features, offers tailored solutions to address specific patient needs through its sophisticated technology, allowing seamless transitions between modes, interfaces, and parameters. This flexibility enables healthcare professionals to customize the layout and preset parameters according to their operational preferences. Featuring a dual flow sensor, it delivers precise parameter control via the proximal flow sensor, ensuring swift monitoring responsiveness. Whether for intubation, weaning, invasive or non-invasive ventilation, or high-flow oxygen therapy, the advanced ventilation strategies of the VK600 ventilator are meticulously crafted to support patients at every stage of their treatment, prioritizing their comfort throughout the care continuum.
Furthermore, our comprehensive range of life support solutions was showcased during the event, featuring the Amoul® Intensive Care Ventilator VK600, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitator E6, Defibrillator/Monitor i6, Automated External Defibrillator #AED i3, and medical Aspirator ASU-I. These cutting-edge innovations garnered significant interest from medical professional attendees at the event. We also highlighted how our Amoul® ventilators have developed real-time monitoring solutions that allow medical staff to monitor and control patients' conditions remotely. This upgraded function enables the prompt exchange of medical information even before patients reach the hospital or while they are outside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and the visitors were thrilled to learn about our latest lifesaving technology. It provided a valuable opportunity for us to exchange ideas on anesthesiology and intensive care, as well as collaborate on developing more innovative solutions to enhance the quality of patient care.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants and visitors who actively engaged with our life support solutions, sharing their experiences and insights in the emergency, analgesia, and intensive medical care field. We look forward to future events focused on enriching healthcare and incorporating the latest solutions and technology on a global scale.
