Rescuing patients with cardiac arrest is a common occurrence in the emergency department, with a high mortality and disability rate. Furthermore, the incidence rate of cardiac arrest has been increasing compared to a decade ago. CPR is the key to saving patients in such situations. If effective CPR cannot be performed within a short period of time, it can lead to greater brain damage and even endanger the patient's life.
However, the intensity of resuscitation work is high, the duration is long, and there are "flaws" in manual compression, which makes it difficult to ensure the accuracy of compression frequency, number, and depth, thus compromising the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Consequently, the clinical application of portable cardiopulmonary resuscitation machines could be the trend to come.
Recently, a study titled "Study on the Application Value of Portable Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Machine Compared with Manual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in Pre-Hospital First Aid" has revealed that machine cardiopulmonary resuscitation is significantly more effective than manual CPR. Additionally, this method ensures the patient's safety and enhances the success rate of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Furthermore, it improves the patient's vital signs, cardiac function, and arterial blood gas indexes.
As part of a study, 102 emergency patients were split into two groups based on the type of first aid they received. The control group, consisting of 51 patients, received manual cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Meanwhile, the research group, also with 51 patients, received assistance from a portable cardiopulmonary resuscitation machine called the Amoul® E8 CPR.
The results showed that the success rate of CPR in the study group was 90.20%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (68.63%). Additionally, the vital signs of the patients after resuscitation were better in the study group compared to the control group.
As a matter of fact, E8 CPR has saved lives many times in clinical rescues and played an indelible role in saving lives from danger.
There were patients rescued from the fire who had no spontaneous breathing and their aortic pulsation disappeared. They were hovering on the edge of life and death. After 13 minutes of struggling with E8 CPR and the Grim Reaper, the patient regained spontaneous breathing. There are also cases of loss of consciousness due to cariogenic heart disease. In such situations, the patient should not be called, but instead urgently sent to the rescue room. The E8 CPR should be continued with precise pressure until the patient is out of danger and regains a new life.
Countless saved lives have proven that the Amoul® CPR is a comprehensive and reliable solution. It monitors the frequency and depth of compressions in real time, providing patients with high-efficiency and uninterrupted chest compressions. This solution maintains high-quality CPR, effectively freeing the hands of medical staff and improving the efficiency of overall resuscitation.
That truly reflects Amoul®'s motto: "We Innovate To Save Lives". We welcome new partners to work together and save more lives worldwide.
